The Photography Club will be a way for students interested in photography, whether beginning or advanced, to learn about the medium and increase their photographic and editing skills (CS5). Students will discuss and learn to shoot in various modes and conditions (manual, low light, athletic events, etc.), discuss and experiment with various terms and techniques (adjusting aperture and shutter speed, fill flash, etc.), and work on photographing people, animals, landscapes, etc. In addition to learning beginning and advanced levels of photography, students are encouraged to submit their photos for Bismarck Public Schools publications such as the yearbook and newspapers, as well as offer submissions to various local and national competitions. If you are interested in becoming part of the Career Academy's Photography Club contact Mr. Conley (323- 4340 ext. 3030) or any of the members listed. Our meeting times vary so we can adjust to just about any student busy schedules.
